어느 날, 비와 눈은 동시에 내리고 있었다.
나는 공책에 낙서를 했다.
게을러진 나는 침실에서 KES 방송국의 라디오를 켰다.
그것을 통해 Zoink의 한 화랑에서의 공연에 대한 밝은 얘기를 들었다.
One day, it was raining and snowing at the same time.
I scribbled in my notebook.
Being lazy, I turned on the radio of the KES station in my bedroom.
Through that, I heard a bright story about Zoink’s performance at a gallery.

A hopeful collection of electronic music by the exceptionally talented Korean skater/artist, Yoonkee Kim.
Created primarily using hardware electronic instruments, including his beloved Roland TR-707 and KORG volca series, the pop-infused, friendly yet somewhat quirky sound will gently caress your eardrums, changing its expression like light reflecting on a still water surface.
From ambient melodies to the freaky growls of analog synthesizers and subtly arranged rhythm tracks, the sounds paint a vibrant picture, like splashes of colorful paint on a white canvas.
■Yoonkee Kim（ユンキー・キム）プロフィール
1980年韓国生まれ。幼少の頃よりピアノを習い、音楽に親しむ。十代の頃パンクやグランジ、ヒップホップに出会ったことをきっかけに音楽制作を始める。
2004年、イギリス滞在期に制作された激ゆる宅録ダブ・アルバムの金字塔 “Asian Zombie” が日本のウーツーレコーズよりリリースされ、その才能が世に知らしめられることとなる。
その後活動の拠点を韓国に移し、精力的に作品のリリースを続ける。また、音楽制作と並行してドローイング、ペインティングなどのアート作品も制作し、ソウル市内のギャラリーで数多くの展示を行う。
息を吸って吐くように、日々何かを創作し続けている。
Yoonkee Kim Profile
Born in South Korea in 1980, he studied piano from a young age and developed a deep appreciation for music. In his teens, he began making music after discovering punk, grunge, and hip-hop.
In 2004, his groundbreaking lo-fi home-recorded dub album “Asian Zombie,” created during his time in the UK, was released by Japan’s Uutwo Records, bringing his talent to public attention.
He subsequently moved his base of operations to South Korea and continued to release works prolifically. In parallel with his music production, he also creates art pieces such as drawings and paintings, and has held numerous exhibitions at galleries in Seoul.
He continues to create something new every day, as naturally as breathing.
